Before we know it, it'll be Spring and that means gardening and when I think of gardening, I think of rabbits, hares or bunnies. This bunny is a surely a special one for me. She's on the skinny side cuz her calculations on storing for winter were way off. So she's hoping Spring comes fast this year so her and her friend, Louie, can start grazing.
Bunny is 22" tall and dressed in an adorable pink/blue/red heart print jumpsuit which has pink sleeve and hem cuffs, and a pink handstitched "BUNNY" collar.
I added a blue vintage silk ribbon around her waist which ties into a bow in the back.
Her body was handpainted and she has a separately attached head and wired arms. Her face was handsculpted with a handstitched nose, mouth and some sisal whiskers.
She has separately handstitched on eyelids and her blue eyes were handdrawn on using artists colored pencils. Her ears are wired as well and can be posed.
She wears a pink painted straw hat which is tied on her head with more blue vintage silk ribbon.
Her feet have been handsculpted as well.Louie, her ewe (sheep) is 5 1/2" x 4" and has faux sheeps wool with bead eyes and painted mouth, ears and tail. Sheep is not permanently attached to Bunny.
